Given the fact that the conference has been moved online for 2022, our social programme has changed from the range of events that we had planned. We are still striving to keep a social aspect to the conference, so we are including the following:
Live virtual tour of Waseda University (Friday July 8, 1pm – 2pm, JST/UTC+9)
Members of our conference team will guide you around the Waseda Campus via Zoom. Please tell them what you’d like to see and ask what you’d like to know, and they’ll try to help you out as best as they can.
Coffee Rooms (throughout the conference)
All participants are welcome to visit the three coffee rooms that you will be able to visit during the three days of the conference. Our conference team will be there, so if you have any questions about what to do next, then please feel free to pop in at any time to say hello. All registered members will be free to pop in and out of the coffee rooms at any time, so you never know who you might bump in to.
Informal Chats about Presentations (throughout the conference)
In addition to the regular “drop in and chat” format of the coffee rooms, we are also inviting presenters to set aside a time slot where they will be available in one of the rooms to chat about their presentation, your research, upcoming projects, or anything you like! The times will be available on the conference schedule that you’ll be able to check from the Conference Portal.
